Founder President’s Chairman

Shri. P. R. BHOSALE, Founder–Chairman of Holy-wood Academy, Kolhapur, born in a family having agriculture background at Narande Village in Kolhapur District.

In 1992, he has established the Holy-wood Academy to impart best quality education at Primary, Secondary, Higher-Secondary, Graduation and Post-graduation in various disciplines.

With a batch of only 7 students, he layed the foundation stone of SANJEEVAN KNOWLEDGE CITY by starting Sanjeevan Public School in 1994.

Today, there are more than 2500 students studying from all over the country from KG to PG. Because of his hard and continuous efforts, dedication and strong will-power , a small tree has now grown up as SANJEEVAN KNOWLEDGE CITY.

applied Art is very Dynamic Discipline. There is a lot of addition in the scope of applied arts. It has very closest with other social sciences and sciences as well. The Department Introducing BFA Course in Painting, Sculpture & Applied Arts.

Organizing National/ International workshops, seminars, conferences :

The Department of applied arts has planned to organize one national level seminar /workshop or conference every year during 2023-24

The department also wants to organize at least one such international event after every three years.

Other Objectives

Making the alumni association more effective. Having rapport with the parents/ guardians regarding Academic progress of their wards.

BFA (Applied Art)

The Department of applied Art of the sanjeevan school of applied art is the youngest department established on the University campus form the academic year 2023-24.The department was opened with the sole aim to impart qualitative art education under the University system in the backward region of the pachshim maharashtra of the Maharashtra state. One of the main concerns of the department is to inculcate multiple visual thinking processes among the art student who pursue undergraduate in the applied art and to advocate visual culture in the artisan guild community in the region who laboriously carved the grate art historical world famous monuments of panhala fort. Taking cue from this past tradition, it is imperative to have advance educational department under the University education system.

kolhapur city is the international place in the state of Maharashtra after its capital Mumbai. The Place has its own importance on the cultural map of the country. It is fast immerging commercial hub in the region as well in the state of Maharashtra .Thus, considering the future needs in the immerging commercial hub & offer grater employment opportunities for the young minds of the region of pachshim maharashtra in the field of applied art and advertisement, the Department proposes to introduce several new full-fledged post-graduation and Bridge courses It is aimed not only to enhance the academic growth but also to equip the students to have greater job opportunities in the newly emerging market economy.
